My left channel sound(or right speaker) has died, I recieve no signal output. Following Specifications
Motherboard: P4VMM2(V1.0)
Sound: Using Onboard
OS: Windows XP
Currently im trying to update my drivers and see if thats the offendor, and ive also tested all the various sound settings to no avail, any assistance is appreciated, thanks.

you said it. shure its not your speaker? if so than drivers wont help.

No for reference I was referring to the directional right speaker, my Right channel gets outputted on both speakers, and one of my headphones, however on my other pair, it recieves absolutely no sound output on one of the headphone speakers.

either:
a) your sound card has died
b) your speakers have died
in order of likelyhood.
