ok, the thing is i have one of those crappy computers that don't have a tower, they are just a monitor and the computer is inside the monitor.. so i don't have a LPT1 thing on the back so i can connect my printer, do you think i could but an adapter, like a USB cord for it? thanks

Knowing the manufacture and model of the printer in question would help.

LPT1 would be your parallel port, so using a parallel to USB adapter would allow you to connect your parallel printer to a USB port on the computer. The computer does have a USB port, right?

yep it does, can i get that parallel to usb adapter anywhere, like even office max or bestbuy? the printer is a HP Deskjet 722c

A Froogle search turned up a few adapters made by Belkin, which is carried by most retailers. You shouldn't have trouble finding a suitable adapter.
