For some reason, when ever I play SC on my lan, my computer gets dropped from the game after X amount of time. I have no idea why

I am running v1.05 on a
AMD Athlon 700

Linksys 10/100

First guess. Set all of the network cards to run at 10 Mbs. This is more than fast enough.

The reasoning behind this suggestion:
I've seen networks run at 100 Mbs that will fail after a varying period of time. Usually due to cabling not quite meeting those 100 Mbs specifications. Most cards will try to autodetect and attempt to run at 100 Mbs unless specifically set to run at 10.

Let me know how it goes.

Also, check the LinkSys site for updated drivers. If you still have problems, it could be an IRQ error.

In that case, if you are comfortable with this, I suggest uninstalling your network adapter, opening up your case, and moving the card to another PCI slot. Then, boot your computer up and let windows detect the new card. Install the latest set of drivers for it and try to play over the network again. Good luck.
