Actiontec modem

I have no idea why, but lately when I goto dial up on my internal pci ActionTec callwaiting modem it crashes msgsrv32.dll
I have reinstalled the drivers which only works when I go as far a removing the listing in the actual registry
Can anyone help?

Like a new sound card or any peripheral? Installed any TSR (runs in the background) programs lately?
Sounds like the modem is having a conflict with something in your computer...

well i do know that it is conflicting with msgsvr32.dll, but i have know idea why.....
