Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles

hey, has anyone here heard anything about Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles? The only thing that I really know about it is that it is going to be only for Gamecube. But that'll be great, I've been kicking myself for not getting a PS2 to be able to play all the Final Fantasys, but now I can stop! (thank goodness too, i was starting to get sore...)

There has yet to be any decision from Square as to whether or not that game will be released in North America.
Outlook: Not so good.

Really? bummer... thats kinda weird though, last night i heard it would be out in fall... wish they would make up their minds

Well, the Japan release date hasn't even been announced yet. I suppose it could be available over there in the fall, but, before anything is solid in Japan, I wouldn't expect to see any plans for a North American release.

If tactics comes out in the U.S. for GBA, I would put money on Crystal Chronicles coming for GC here too. But its still up in the air. Theres speculation that Crystal Chronicles doesnt even exist, and that the screens out for it are concepts.

I would believe that. If a Japan release date hasn't even been announced, then the game is still in the earliest stages of development, if it's in development at all.

Well, if there is one thing that I'm sure of in this matter, it's the fact that Final Fantasy Tactics is for sure coming out onto the Game Boy Advance. This I know, since I am a proud subscriber to Nintendo Power! (holds suspender straps proudly out, then snaps them back) Ow...
So, if Final Fantasy Tactics does indeed come out, then your saying that, most likely, Crystal Chronicles will to, right?

No, because I dont work for Square. Im just saying there probably is a good chance that if they bring out 1 FF game on a nintendo system, they will bring more.
And tactics better come out here, thats the whole reason I wanna buy a GBA SP. If it dont come out, well then maybe Ill buy the next Gameboy.

You know, that would be a really spiffy place to work, Square. You could help come up with all the stories for the final fantasy series, and you could even make a whole new world! *eyes glaze over* wow, there's a new goal to shoot for! lol

They do other games besides FF. Im still waiting for another Legend of Dragoon. And a *FIXED* The Bouncer 2.

I didn't know FF Tactics was coming for GBA. That's pretty sweet. Here I was waiting for Rock N Roll Racing to come out for it. Now hopefully, I will have 2 games to shoot for.
