Why must people be so ****ING DUMB???
There's this server I play Counter-Strike on all the time... Fr3nsyc... www.fr3nsyc.net . It's a really great and fast server, and it only fits 10 people so it's actually got games that involve skill rather than dumb luck. It's also got Friendly Fire turned On, which heightens the challenge.
The regulars there are all cool, I've known them for over half a year. The admins are, for the most part, cool too. The clan that "owns" the server is called XBones, or _xb, and they're the best players I've ever seen...
Whenever there's a TK, I immediately write down their WON IDs and ICQ em over to the admins. Whenever there's any issues, I report them dutifully to ensure that the server provides the BEST experience for everyone.
Anyway, to the main story... Thursday, June 7, 2000, at around 8 PM, I was playing in the server with a buncha regs and a few newbies. It happened that all the "newbs" were on my team, against 5 pretty damn good regs. I mentioned about how the teams were kindy crappy... but no one heard me or listened.
Strangely, I was doing really well that night... I actually had a positive score ratio and our team was being ROCKED.
So here I am, playing... and all of a sudden, the game freezes, and then I see a screen telling me that I was just banned.
WTF?
OK. Calm down. It's probably a mistake. Or maybe they just didn't like you whining or something. I'm sure Gegs will sort it out (the guy who managed most of the TK-banning was a guy named Gegner, but the head honcho was someone named PhunGuy <- who happened to be playing at the time I was banned).
So I post up on the forum [the thread can be found here ], asking what's the deal. At first, Gegner responds, asking for details, telling me it must have been a mistake. I tell him about exactly what happened, and then he goes to check the logs.
Then I see his post telling me that I was apparently banned by PhunGuy for WALLHACKING. "You gotta talk to him directly... he knows hacks pretty well..."
Wallhacking??? WTF? Then I tell them that I've been trying to contact PhunGuy, but he's never responded to my ICQs. Phun finally posts a response, telling me that yes, he banned me for using a wall hack. Quote: "I haven't replied because my ass has been busy... And yes you were banned for wall hacking nad yes it was stated by more than just me. You were watching thru walls and boxes at other peoples positions...."
WTF? So he bans me based on pure assumption. Just because I was doing particularly well that night meant that I was cheating. And that legitimized my being banned.
So I've been posting and telling them that no I do NOT CHEAT, that I would NEVER CHEAT, that I have NO RESPECT for any cheaters... and what do I get? ZERO RESPONSE.
I've been trying to contact PhunGuy via ICQ for the past 3 days, and have gotten ZILCH. I've been repeatedly trying to log on to the server and STILL find that I'm banned, every time I try.
Even the other admins aren't responding to my posts anymore. Either they're afraid to speak out because Phun IS after all, the God of Fr3nsyc - it's HIS server, OR they all think that I'm a cheater and that no one should really care to respond to my posts anymore.
WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE TO BE SUCH DUMBASSES AND SIMPLY THINK THEY'RE RIGHT? I've been there for so long and have done nothing but respect their rules and make sure everything's good and fine... AND THIS IS WHAT I GET??????

... but I think it's not worth staying with such a clueless group of people ... can't really blame the others for siding with the "server owner" coz of obvious reasons ... you just got the raw end of the stick...
... and it's time to move on ... it's their loss, not yours...

Well I could care less about a few of those admins... some of them were elitist pigs anyway...
But there are just so many regs on the server whom I've built friendships with for so long, and some really cool admins too...
The regs probably don't think I cheat (at least I hope they don't), but God...

I'm back in!!! Even though PhunGuy (the head honcho) has been really busy and also told all the other admins not to intervene in this situation (which was why I never got any responses)... a few of them have been working behind the scenes and fighting for me to get back in!!! One even said that if I wasn't unbanned, he'd buy me a new copy of HL so I could have a new CD-Key to play with!
Wuhoo!!!! I'm not that worthless after all!! 
Now back to CS! Hehe...
