6 Fs. The reason why some ppl cant see the 6th one is because 'of' is such a common word that if you read over it quickly, you just think nothing of it.

And because the human brain reads phonetically in a lot of cases, and the f in of doesn't sound like an f.
Regardless, the impact of the test is lessened when people have a chance to be influenced by other people's outcome, the conformity effect.

aye, that is called closure or something to that extent. the brain will just skip over it (the repeated word). but it works better when the repeated word is the last of one line and the first of the next
