Re-router Oh Help Me!!! Ip!

RE-ROUTER!! now listen up and listen good my re-routers ACTING AS A FIREWALL!!! it is BLOCKING my IP!!
if anyone knows how to fix this Problem please dont hesitate to help me.

NO DONT LEAVE! HELP ME! OH GOD HELP ME!!!

ps:i heard i have to get a new re-router ip is this true?

A re-router? I assume we are talking about a regular router here. Could you give the manufacturer and model number?

A router should take the IP address that you recieve from your provider. From there, it will subdivide that address to computers on your local network. The IP that you see on your computer is an IP address from your ISP, but rather your router.

Some routers have build in firewalls, which may need to be configured. If you don't have a manual, the manufacturer probably has a .pdf file or something you can grab online.
