Planetside Beta, anyone?

Anyone else in the beta? I got discs in the mail about a week ago. So far I like the game, but I cant really fully enjoy it as it runs like crap on my system using even the lowest settings. Ram and CPU seem to be the most important, Ive seen my swap in the 400mb area. The game is 3 discs as well, packing in over 3.2gb.
I like the whole experience system they have. You gain experience for doing just about everything, and when you gain a certain amount, you get a battlerank. Each battle rank will give you certification points, which you use to certify your avatar in different things, like weapons, vehicles, hacking, healing, etc. I just got certification for a Reaver, which is a single person air combat ship. Its pretty fast, has dual chain guns and dual missle launchers and has pretty good armor. The controls are great, you can change altitude, land(in certain areas or you risk damage or blowing up) and your flight direction is controlled by the mouse. Vehicles are similar, but instead of the mouse controlling the weapon aim and vehicle direction, it controls just weapon aim, vehicles are solely driven by the keyboard.
The servers are up right now with a new patch, only problem is that everyone and their dog is downloading it and it takes about 2 hours because all the bandwidth is being used up. The state the game is in now, I doubt it will make its may release, but they have pretty much narrowed down the major bugs. Unless one shows up in the next few weeks, it still could make it out next month.

Anyone remember Outwars by Microsoft for PC? I still have it.. that game is 2 discs.. It is fun, but has too many glitches sometimes. Does anyone remember if you could play it online? ..i forget

Cool! Another "PlanetSider". I've had mine for about a week too. That install was killer. I really enjoy the game when it works, though. It seems to crash every 5min or as soon as I'm in a large battle. It also likes to minimize itself too. When it is done, however, it is going to be cooler than UT2003.
And if you think 2 hours is long for that patch, mine said 10 hours at first... needless to say, I waited until morning to get it... in 20min.
What server you on and what faction you in? I'm Vanu on the server formerly known as Beryl... I think it starts with an "R" now.... I dunno, I've been doing this reaserch paper and my other homework is killing my free time...
