Ok I am gonna sell these :

350 K6-2
160Mb RAM
ATI RAGE MAGNUM 16MB
Soundblaster 16
SMC 1208T
4X Matshita CDROM Drive
Floppy Drive
4GB Fujitsu HDD

EP ZXA, with socket 370 adapter in slot 1 (400Mhz Celeron) 64MB RAM Soundblaster 16...

a 15 inch Panasonic S15 Screen

Ok these parts and one screen should bring back enough to buy a not to bad system

I am keeping a brand new P4 Ready 400W ATX CASE from the 400. I am also keeping its 20GB Maxtor , and a bar of 128MB I have, I also have a DLink Nic and a Geforce 2MX 32 MB

I want to have an SDRAM Board with an ATHLON XP and some onboard sound , how much can this cost me at most?

Posted by: GeForce_4_

oops I am also keeping hte 52X LG And floppy drive !

Posted by: redwench

sdram??? ugh

at most? 200 why dont you just head to pricegrabber or pricewatch and look?

Posted by: uh...ok

Are you selling the individual parts or are those parts all hooked up onto one system?

Either way you probably won't get more than $150 off selling them. And I might be overestimating.

just a tad. new floppies sell for 15 bucks. he would be damn lucky to get 100 for the entire mess.

I'd say around $70 CDN if you can find a buyer.

Honestly?
You won't get much for that, atleast not enough to buy a new mtoherboard and processor.

Then again, it all depends on who you sell it to, and if they're a sucker or not.

If you plan on buying sometihng like an XP 2400+ and a new motherboard, theres no reason to not buy DDR ram, unless of course preformance is not a concern (Even if you're buying a 1500+ or something of that sorts).

If I were the person buying it, I'd give you 100$, maybe 125$. But, then again, we used to sucker off barebones 133mhz P1 machines for 75$ at my old workplace all the time.

EDIT: Just noticed that theres a monitor. Still, only around 200$, tops, and that's only if it's in like new condition.

100 bucks for an old 15" monitor? you been in the catnip again darky?

Posted by: GeForce_4_

look the monitor is new, and I didn't say I wasn't paying the difference!

I don't want DDR for now , this computer would be a 2nd one in the house ( after selling the two low-end machines) I ALREADY have an athlon 1800+ with 256 ddr and geforce 2MX 400 64MB For my bigger gaming..

I am planning on getting another 1800+ and 256 SDRAM with the 20gb maxtor and the geforce 2 32mb....

Posted by: uh...ok

Why (are you spending money to build that kind of a system), again?

Oh and do you have a case, PSU, CD-drive, keyboard, mouse, and all that other nifty stuff for it?

Posted by: Bobaroo

Why not just take the money and get a better video card? Maybe a GeForce4 Ti4200 for around $110 USD.

-/>350 K6-2 --What is this?
...

Posted by: uh...ok

AMD K6-2 350 MHz CPU.

Posted by: redwench

a very elderly chip

Posted by: Azgard

The first generation of good AMD processors if im not mistaken.

Posted by: uh...ok

The K6-2s were good?

I had one and it sucked.

Posted by: Bobaroo

The K6-2's did suck.

AMD got good with the K7's

Posted by: GeForce_4_

Ok you guys are right about the K6-2, but I don't see why...

Anyway I am willing to get a K7 at its place...

Is a k7 better than a Pentium II ?

I want to keep my 16MB ATI RAGE AND NIC AND SDRAM and HD , and floppy if I get a K7

Posted by: ZeRo_MaXwInG

AMD K7s = Athlons and Athlon XPs, which uses a different socket than the K6s, meaning a new board.

Posted by: GeForce_4_

?????? a K7 IS AN ATHLON???
