Hi, i do not get any sound on the menu in BG2 and no music in the game at all, all other games work fine except BG2, i have the latest patch for the game and the latest drivers for my GFX card and my sound card...

i get the speach in the game but no music and not all sounds (i think)... i have a sound blaster audigy2...

my comp:
P4 1,5GHz, 512mb SDram, Gforce 4 TI-4200, audigy2,

EDIT: I use windows xp with service pack 1

well, if you get speech, you have sound. it must be turned off. i dont remember the specific method to get there, but in the sound menu, there are slider bars for effects, background, music, and i think speech. also a toggle to turn them off and on.

well, im not that stupid you know, i know for a fact that it is my audigy2 that is messing with me. because i enabled the onboard soundcard and plugged my headphones into that outlet and then all the sound and music etc works fine in baldurs gate 2.

but i would really want it to work with the audigy2 card.... because it is tedious to change outlet when i want to listen to music or play other games (because of the sound quality with the audigy2 is awesome).....
