mine probably won't either. I just got a radeon 9000 so I'm a bit behind myself. But the Radeon is a major improvement over my geforce 3 64mb...i can't wait for the game to come out!

Actually I hope they focus more on having a quality soundtrack. The best thing about Doom when it came out was the music. It really adds to the atmosphere if it's done right.

Finally some real looking zombies.
Well I cant blame them that they first did not look very well.
I mean the last doom they made was made when all shooters looked like that.
Hope I can play it in a good resolution though

Can someone host the image? I can never look at images from gamespot for some reason.
I hope the brain spider robots are back again, those were my favorite enemy
I wonder why they arent taking screens using npatches. The game does support it.

What's that?

Its what ATI calls "True Form", but in order for it to work the game has to support it. Doom 3 does support npatches because there are several screens of it out there floating around with it on(theres one with the fat zombies). It adds a ton of pollygons to the models to make they more rounded shapes rather than squared. Look at the flaming skull heads. See how the tops of their heads are like a octagonal shape?
Nvidia cards dont "officially" support npatches, but it can do it. You can use fraps(I think) to force it on.

Probably because since npatches increases the triangles, in dramatically increases the rendering overhead. id will probably disable support for them in the final game.
