Ahh the motherboard, probably the most complex piece of hardware a computer can have. Looking for the right motherboard can be a difficult task with so many to choose from. Not only that, a lot of the features available vary considerably as does other factors such as product support and quality.

This guide will help you understand different features you will see when browsing for motherboards and also elaborate on which features you should want on a motherboard. The guide will be broken down into sections for easier understanding.
