hello everyone..
I'm not very familiar with forums or chat rooms.
therefore I've never tried, before
I feel kind-of shy about it.
While searching for information about my motherboard
I was brought to a segment of this site.
the rules, conduct and tech support of this site , encouraged me to join .
My name is luis I live in Gilbert Arizona.
have been married 13+ years, have a daughter her name is jade, my wife's name is jennifer.
I work renting cars at phx airport, my tittle csr
I,m sort of a little bit technical, but sometimes I tend to
get stuck and leaves me unable to fix my pc problems.
I was browsing for information regarding my
MS-6167 ATX IR1 mobo, I'm running an atlon 500MHz
cpu , so Iwas trying to find out what is the fastest
athlon I can replace my original with.

Hi luis, and welcome to OTS.
it looks like with a Bios flash from MSI's Site you could install up to an 850mhz Thunderbird Cpu.
it may be time for a new motherboard, that cpu will be difficult to find.
if you did actually decide to flash your Bios, MAKE SURE that you either know what you are doing, or read complete instructions on how to flash your Bios.
