"object not found" errors w/ outlook 2002

I get two errors with Outlook 2002 on my Windows XP machine. Detect and repair does not detect or repair them.

(1) When I click on an e-mail address in a web page the active application switches to Outlook but I get the message "Object not found." It does not open a new e-mail.

(2) I cannot open, edit, or delete any recurring appointments on outlook. I can create them on my computer or my pocket pc, but if I try to open/edit/delete them I get the message "Can't open this item. The object could not be found."

Help!

OK, sorry, I solved my own problem. But if anyone else has this problem just close outlook, search for the file frmcache.dat, delete it, and then reopen outlook. All problems miraculously fixed.

Hi

I also have the same problem. But I can't find the file "frmcache.dat" you wrote about. Any other ideas? :|
