Installation Path

I downloaded a hacking program for Icewind Dale II (hee hee). WHen I started to run it, it said that It needs the installation path for it to run. What is an installation path and How do i find it? Im using Windows Xp Pro.

its a mod, not a hack. the makers released the code so that players could modify the game for thier own amusement.
an installation path is simply the location of a program, placed in the registry so that it can be found by your computer without you directly hunting it down.
anyway, if it is asking for an installation path while youre trying to install it, just put it wherever you feel like.
if its asking for the game's installation path, just use the find feature, and copy the full path to wherever the mod tells you to.
