i can't believe i did that, i don't know why but i did, now i am having more fun with d2 lod... sigh... don't know how can i ever get my money back

Wasted? Ha.

I bought it online for about $65, and it has been the best investment in a game that I have had for awhile.

I am all pissed that my computer broke and I can't play it

Posted by: Null Actor

Wasted? You just purchased the best online game made since Tribes.

Wasted... I bought 2 copies the day after it came out for $50.. (Don't ask.. ) and have enjoyed many hours of fun.. check into some of the mods like Desert Combat.. if your interested jump over to www.fr3nsyc.net where we have 2 Desert Combat servers (one down for a move for the next week or so) and get alot of good people playing.. (watch out LUD cheats) best time is after 7pm MST any night of the week.. if you need the mod go to desertcombat.com or fileplanet has it.. get DesertCombat .35e and join in

Any questions catch me on ICQ at 41666852.. won't be home for a few hours tonight.. going to see Matrix.. but otherwise I am usually close to the PC..

Hes a n00b

You are playing LOD over BF1942? Were you dropped as a baby? Head injury in a football game? Thats the only thing I could think of to make someone do that.

ok look it's not that, but um... i have some technical issues, i can't join games, and you guys won't help me

Posted by: SKYHN

Well I dont think anyone here has refused to help you. The first thing you should do is check EA's Knowlege base on the game and see if your problem is in there with a solution.

If you've experienced the Blue Devils from the inside, as your avatar suggests, then I would assume you to possess the congnitive skills to sniff out a solution for yourself.

I'm not bustin' your balls or anything, but I don't recall you asking about a problem. Can you be a little more specific, so that the people here who have experience with BF 1942 can better assist you?

oh ok, my bad guys i'm sorry

we cool?

1st edit: ok now i narrow down the problem to my router, cause when i unplugged the modem from my router and then connect it directly to my cmputer the game worked just fine, but how do i fix it?

i am using a SMC 7004VBR router

i know, i read that thing from EA's link already, but exactly how do i config my router's ports?

a router is a piece of hardware that does not show up in the windows, and it didn't come with a software, so i don't know how to do it

Posted by: uh...ok

Some routers can be accessed by opening up your browser and going to http://192.168.0.1

Not sure if that will work for you, but it's worth a shot.

Posted by: INeedHelp

it worked but it prompt me to enter a password, i never set a password in the first place

Posted by: Bobaroo

pw=admin

Posted by: INeedHelp

wrong password, i tried everything

1st edit: oh my god, this is the most homosexualest router i ever seen, there's no password, you leave it a blank and click log in

2nd edit: nevermind, i'll save the hassle and just plug the modem to my computer when i wanna play battlefield 1942, the setup interface just too complicated

anyways, so can you guys help me with my home networking? oh by the way they never worked before so, but i can get them to share internet connection, but not files, i can never get my computer to show up on each other's network neighbor hood

the computer i'm using is windows XP, the other one is windows 98, so if you guys need more information just ask me

3rd edit: ok now i can use this (the new computer with XP) to see the content of my old computer, but i can't get my old computer to show up my new computer in its network neighborhood, any ideas?
