Portraits...
(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Heh... every time I look at the baldur's gate portraits next to people's names, all I see are people that I work with
Kinda odd... hehehe
Anyway, if I can grab links to the pics, maybe I'll post the names of some of the guys that the portraits belong to IRL
Or, if you have a BG portrait, post, and I'll tell you who the portrait is of.
Pepsi Man for example has the portrait of Marc Holmes, art director at bioware

too bad i can't talk like this about my work, ug

All right, all right, all right…I can’t help it. So I must ask away. What picture does Gerbilo’s avatar represent at Bioware?

Nova.

who were the women that were jaheira? (my and drus avatars)
and what pic did you end up as?
Posted by: Null Actor
Jaheira wasn't a bioware person. There weren't many female pics that were people from bioware, since there aren't many females who work here.
I'm not in any of the pictures since BG was done before I started working here.

you didnt make bg2 pics either? bummer

i think that should do it for todays posts.

Sorry, I forgot about this thread. I've worked on MDK2, Baldur's Gate 2, Neverwinter Nights, and I'm currently working on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
Theemon: there is no real book that will teach you how to program games. Not really. Most are just hacks. And a waste of money. Learn to program (C and C++), and then just start experimenting. There are a lot of sources on the net... www.gamedev.net is the best, IMO.
