My Document at Startup

Windows 2000 pro is my operating system. Problem is that upon startup, all programs open as usual, but My Document folder ALSO opens. I cannot seem to find a fix to avoid the annoyance. I thought I could find the problem in The Regedit but no such luck. Any help will be appreciated greatly.
