I am a bad lag out when it comes to Warcraft 3, when I go into battle I began to lag. (Well My Computer Does) And I cant really get my men to leave before they are all dead. I have DRTCP but I dont know the best settings for my computer, here are the stats:
Computer: L773r (Dell Computer)
Processor: Pentium 3 733MHz (L1 Cache: 32.0 Kb, L2 Cache: 256.0 Kb) Ext. Clock: 133MHz
Bios: AMIBIOS 063200
Motherboard: CA810E Intel Corporation (J5H1)
Memory: 128 Mb (129 292 Kb) DIMM1: 128 Mb
Video Card: Intel 82810E Graphics Controller 800 x 600 - High Color (16 bit)
Sound Card: Game Port for Creative SB Live!
Oper. System: Microsoft Windows ME
Modem: Conexant HCF V90 56K RTAD Speakerphone PCI
Can someone please tell me what to set my RWIN and other stuff to. I am tired of lagging in every game and I really need experts help.
Thanks

I wouldn't worry about your RWIN. In your case, your lag is caused by your hardware -- you need to buy more RAM and a better video card with as much video memory as possible.

But is there a program to enhance my video card or enhance my RAM???

No, you need to upgrade your computer's components ... ask your Dell Representative on how to properly upgrade your computer, since it includes integrated components.
If you don't have money to upgrade (or you refuse to do so), try setting all options in Warcraft III to the absolute minimum, especially the video options. Make the display as low resolution as possible (800x600x16) and all textures and graphics at the lowest setting ... it may not make a significant reduction in lag, but it will at least make your game playable during heated battles...

I bought a new video card.(GeForce 4x) And got it for cheap at the Office Depot.(It even came with a game: Ghost Recon. It does help some with the lag but not all. Do you think if i buy RAM from Dell for 180$ it will make a huge difference, or just a little??

$180 for RAM? How much are you getting?
Just got to bestbuy and buy 256mb of PC133 RAM, and you will be fine.

Ok, so i bought the GeForce 4x and i bought 256 Ram for 99.00$ and I STILL lag, I go into battle and it is just like pitchers going from one to another, i cant tell whats going on, even tho it did help some its not the best anyone got any more suggestions??

If you play singleplayer, do it lagg as well?
If it does'nt then your computer is fine by now with your new stuff
I can see that you use a ordinary 56K modem connection and that is too slow...
Newer games as WC3 should have a broadband for lagfree game play.

Well does anyone have a suggestion for a program to speed up my internet connection so that it will help my lag on bnet??

There is a program called Dr. Speed. its boasts to increase internet connections by 250%. Which is just bs. I saw it in a pop-up ad and thought to test and see if it actually worked. Im not sure but i think if you have a really bad connection it helps. I have cable so i never lagged i just wanted to see if the program did do what it said to do. You can get the program off kazzaa, or you could buy it but i think if you buy it and it doesnt work its a waste of money and /or the time for buying and returning so you might want to download if it doesnt take that long. Good Luck
