How to Uninstall A Program

I installed Limewire then decided to get rid of it. I can uninstall Limewire; however, I can't uninstall LimeShop.
When I go to the Control Panel and click to uninstall Limewire, it tells me it can't find "register class" and other times, it simply does nothing. I mean, I click to uninstall and there is no response.
I am at my wits end.
I have used System Mechanic, but it didn't help, either.
When you have a program in the Control Panel, how can you force it to delete?

Have you tried using Ad-Aware to remove any remnants of limeshop?

I have tried Ad-Aware, but that doesn't help.
Limeshop lingers on.
Any more advice you may have would be greatly appreciated.
