New Soundblaster Card?

There have been rumors about it for a several weeks now, but it has intensified its hype recently, and many sites are now scrambling to find out the truth...
Last April, there was a leaked presentation of Creative Lab's alleged new soundcard, called the Soundblaster Audigy. What's so special about this new soundcard? No hard specs yet, but the presence of a Firewire port has surely sparked the interest of many multimedia enthusiasts.
Here's a snip from a recap done by 3D Sound Surge:
"...Creative has finalized plans for the launch of new SB platform for late in the next fiscal first quarter. No details (or names) were given but he described the card as a "high end super high quality audio platform" that should build on positive retail results of the Live. He also indicated that they plan to launch a "shiny new speaker line". Unfortunately I was not on the live conference call so could not submit my own questions and the ones asked were as expected from financial analysts more interested in bottom line earning potential than sound card and speaker feature sets. Having said that one question did garner a little more information. The sound card is considered to be their first major new platform since the Live and would "extend beyond anything anyone has envisioned for the PC". The card was described as super high end and they feel it is going to do great things for Creative. For the speaker line they indicated that it would be the first time they are completely revamping the product line from mid to high end since the introduction of the Live and the high end is considered to be the most important part of the revamping."

Hmmmm, interesting, but I dunno if I'm gonna get one if it does come out... would be great if I had a digicam with Firewire support...
