Counter-Strike troubles

I recently purchased Counter Strike. After I installed the game, I tried the training mode and it worked perfectly fine. After i had finished I decided to go into a Chat Room and it wont let me. A message keeps coming up that says
"Unable to authenticate with WON servers"
 Is this a common problem that is easily fixed or is it something serious?

Did you get to connect to the WON servers since then? Might just be a problem with their servers during that time. Did you ever get this working?

Yep, that's the error. And I have yet to get the game to work online.

go back and re-enter your cd-key thats how you authintise with won....how do i know that.......
