can you change the font color with ubb?
I mean, like a command.
[font] or something flakey like that, I wanted to see if I could do that to my signature.

This text is red
can be done by {color=red}text{/color}
replace { } with [ ]

Chicken is 1337 and tasty.

Did you know crickets are very tasty and edible...and yes...they tast a little like chicken...very good on salads.

I hope this doesn't become a trend.
although it might spice up the forums a little bit.

Just don't abuse it and we'll be fine ... darker colors would be better tho ...

Point well taken.

I tried my dark green but it came out almost invisible ^_^
will look at my list later and get one.

ehmm...what about light green?
if you (or anyone) has a problem with it, i'll change it back
Posted by: Bishop
that looks fine, but the really bright green and yellow chako and I had really contrasted against the rest.

Like the yellow in your Insane Member tag?
Posted by: Chako
The same one...it was too bright.

I just happened to notice that there are no codes
for PUCE, MAUVE, TANGERGINE, HOT PINK or SEA FOAM. While
I don't use them myself, some people with some TASTE
might want to use something in a pastel or neon.
You guys really need to watch HGTV more often. Uh, thats
HGTV.com Bed and Bath design is my favorite. Probably because thats where I spend most of my time. In Bed or In Bath.

While I could not find puce, mauve, tangerine, or sea foam (although there are a few which could be substituted for that last), the HTML color code for hot pink is #FF69B4
imagine that, I'm not an idiot after all!

Speaking of color codes, is there any best way to learn them? Or is it really all just memorization...

Well, most of the time you get to memorize the hex/rgb codes due to using them a lot - the same way you get to memorize a poem by always reciting it.
Anyway, DemonBob created a basic HTML guide a few months ago, and included a HEX/RGB color chart in it.
You can find it here:
http://www.opentechsupport.net/guides/html101/hex.shtml
p.s. That page is using the old layout, so you will see some broken images in the interface ... it's one of the few pages left in the site that I haven't converted to the new layout ... expect it to be all done soon...

Why did you write that in Fine Print Laggy?
