Titan Is No Longer With Us

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

It's a sad day for old tyme OTS'rs. Titan passed away at his computer early Friday morning. He had scheduled a guild quest hunt, and failed to log in. After failing to reach him online for quite some time, Clarence was concerned enough to call his daughter. They found him this morning.

Good Hunting to an old friend.

dammit. people keep dying without my permission.

Posted by: Null Actor

I haven't talked to Titan in ages and ages. I do remember playing Diablo with him a fair bit back when I was in school. Good times.

Geez, this sucks

Titan was a very good friend and always great to chat with on Battle.net ... even when people treated him unfairly he never lost his jolly disposition.

My hat goes off to one of my oldest friends on bnet Rest in peace old friend...

RIP Titus
I will probably go out the same way hopefully.
I hope its not like celeberty deaths that come in threes

I used to talk to Titan too back when OTS on B.net was a cool place to chat.

Sad to see him go, hopefully there was no pain.

Condolences to his family..

Posted by: Erekose

no pain? it was probably the dial-up that killed him, chalk one more up for AOhelL...

but seriously, i never got the chance to know Titan and that is unfortunate. at least if they had to go they went doing what made them happy.

wow man, i never knew him, never once talked with him(witch is kinda odd) and i never really heard him talked about, he was well before my time and i wish his family the best... i assume he really loved gaming and im guessing he died doing what he loved... (p.s what was the game? im just curious)

Titan meant so much more to me than I can possible express here.

omg man what is it with this ? i feel bad =( sorry to hear about this. we need to hear some good news liek someone just got cured of cancer or something...

Posted by: The-AoD

Ohh geeze, that sucks... I really liked Titan. Alot of good conversations with him in the past. And he always loved playing those MMORPG's and other games (occasionally ) I'm very sad to hear this. May your connection be made of gold, and your ping be set at 0. Good luck to you up there.

Please mind my ignorance but did he really die? It seems people are making jokes Sorry.

Edit:
My condolences to the family.

Posted by: Null Actor

If you didn't know him, how about you don't post in this thread? Yes, he did die. No, it's not a joke.

Posted by: Kdr Kane

Exactly right, N/A!

Arunan, I realize you are new here. But, don't you have any sense at all?

Titan was a friend and he will be missed.

It's kinda stupid to think that everyone on the internet is in their teens, 20's, 30's, 40's, ...

We played with Titan back when there were less than 5,000 people on Battlenet at a time. He was my monarch in Asheron's Call.

Be aware. There aren't only a couple of old-schoolers on this website.

I think a short time of remembrance for Titan is necessary at this time.

You can become a little more acquainted about Titan through this thread.

It's very hard to find a gracious person on the internet. Titan was the best.

Arunan. Yes Titan did die and he is very missed. Some of what you take as jokes are actually tributes to the man. Memories of times they have spent with him.

it would seem that is truer than you know, Kane. Arunan might not have known him, but i for one thank him for his thoughts.

i myself only knew him through reputation, yet i still feel a loss. does this mean i can't express my thoughts either, Null?

Arunan, many fo us make light of a serious situation (or maybe it is just myself) to deal with the loss of a good friend. personally i think of it more as a release from earthly pains and worries, and others share my views, hence all the Cheese Puff Fizzies and Bnet Nurses.

Right, i said my piece

Well mind my ignorance. Just got the wrong idea from the first few posts. It just seemed to baffle my sense.

He seems like a great guy to have had the opurtunity to know, bad that I won't have the chance, he really seems like an awesome guy to be around from what you have all said. Again condolences to his family for the loss, and to all his friends here and around.
