I tried to upload a WAV. file to a colleague. Got an AOL alert saying I was only allowed 16MBfor an upload. How can I send this file to my colleague?

first suggestion would be to dump aol for a lot of reasons, this being one. second is to use an IM client or IRC (yahoo messenger, MSN, AIM etc..) to transfer the files because theres no limit to size there. If you are using dial up be aware that a 16 meg file will probably take over an hour to send.

You could compress the file with a lossy (or possibly lossless) encoder or split the file up with a zipping style program.
