File Transfers with Yahoo

Having problems transferring files in Yahoo Messenger. Was using a dial up service with no issues, now I am using Verizon DSL and that's then the challenges started. Any suggestions or help can be emailed to:

A firewall is probably blocking those transmissions. Are you running a personal firewall or sharing your connection through a router or NAT software? If not, contact Verizon.
