starcraft resolution

is it possible to run starcraft at a high resolution? if yes, how?

Nope. In an older game like Starcraft, the sprites were made with 640x480 in mind, so if there was a way you can increase the resolution, the effect would be that you can see more of the map area, so those with lower resolutions will be at a disadvantage.

yup... too bad though, would be cool

Here's an option if you wish to try. You can technically increase preceived resolution but at the cost of screen area. When you run Starcraft, you can use the monitor's OSD controls to make the zoom lower, so the picture becomes smaller, but the game looks like the resolution is jacked up. I set it at around 60% zoom (100 being the maximum) so the sprites seem more 'refined' pixel wise.
