windows 98 Second Edition Upgrade

I heard that you could upgrade your windows 98 operating system to windows 98 second edition by downloading a program from microsoft without having to reinstall windows. I've been trying to find this downloadable upgrade for hours. Can anyone tell me if this is true and where I could find this program. Thanks.

No there was never a download upgrade. There was an Upgrade 98SE disc that was put out, you may be able to find one on e-bay. Other than that about all you will get from Microsoft are all of the hotfixes from WindowsUpdate.com
