"Radeon 9500pro" does it match or not?

Hi, I have an ECS K7VZA v3.0 motherboard. I work with 3D animations a lot, with the graphic card I have (GF 2 MX 32mb) my 3Ds Max viewport is very slow when I have to do wih more models or polygons, therefore I'm planning to buy me a "Radeon 9500 pro".
My question is: this motherboard of mine has "2x AGP bus", and on the graphic card package (as seen on www) it says "4x/8x AGP bus".
-Do you think it will match to my PC?
Thanks

it should run, but not very well. your graphics card may not be your bottleneck if youre running on 2x.

Do you suggest that I buy a new motherboard, if so then please can you give me an idea what MB would be quite decent for my system (but ofcourse something of an average price or even less than that):
AMD Athlon 1000Mhz
512 SDRAM

good question. the problem is that your whole system is out of date. however, i would suggest you look at asus boards that will accept your cpu and ram type. if you decide to bring your whole system up to par, look at an nforce2 board.

Or you could grab a generic biostar motherboad, they actually have 2 that is interesting, the $52 one i have, and there is one for $80s with a nforce chipset.
Mines does all i need , runs great, check my specs in my sig.
i got it off of newegg.com
