Clean HARD DRIVE

How do I wipe my hard drive clean so I can reinstall windows 98 and all other programs I choose? Thank you, Zeb

From a command line prompt on a Windows boot disk type "format c:".

1. Create a windows boot disk.

2. Reboot pc w/ boot disk in floppy

3. When PC boots up go into bios (usually delete key) and Make A: as first boot device

4. Save changes in bios (usually f10).

5. DOS should load from floppy boot disk you made

6. Type Format c: at the command prompt.

7. It will take a few minutes and will show process of format.

8. After formated go back in to bios and change boot back to C:

9. Put in the windows CD and install.
