I'm thinking about buying an Uninteruptable power supply for my PC. With this UPS i would like to power 2 PC's and 1 screen and a router. The power supply of the PC's are 400w and 350w. Any one know how big of a UPS i would need?

id recommend 2 ups, around 1000 VA for the monitor and 400Wer, around 500 for the 350Wer. if you want both on 1 ups, youll have to get a bigger one.

how long do you want to have them run on battery? I got a small one for cheap, can power my stuff for around 5 mins.

i mainly want them for brief losses in power. But somthing that would last 10-15 min would be nice.

well, if you hit the apc website, i think they size them for you. make sure you dont undersize, that would be a real problem

I'm with Wench here. APC's stuff is awesome... and always get bigger than you need.... just in case.

Oh... and NEVER plug a laser printer into a UPS
