May sound dumb, but do you have your Frozen Throne CD in your CD drive, and not the original War3 CD? When you installed Frozen Throne, did you experience any problems or errors? Make sure to clean your CD-ROM drive with a CD cleaner, just to make sure...

Also post your system specs, it may help...

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulties with using your CD to play.
Many computers have two optical drives, If you have the option available to you, try using the second drive.
Also make sure you are using the original retail copy of the cd.
Update your CD-ROM drive firmware to the latest version available.
Make sure you are using the latest available version of the game. ( http://www.blizzard.com/patches/ )
Try enabling or disabling the CD-ROM settings for Sync Data Transfer, DMA, and Auto-Insert Notification.
Scan your computer for Viruses. ( http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=asi0462p ).
If you are using ZoneAlarm Pro, please be sure to either upgrade or uninstall your copy.

If that does not work, please:
Disable Real-Mode drivers. ( http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=mdt0402p ).
Enable ACPI within the BIOS.

Additionally, certain DELL computers may experience a compatibility issue with your game. ( http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=adt0287p2 ).
