How do u tell if a LCD monitor is good or not??
I am thinking about buying one, but don't know where to start, and which brand to choose..???

refresh rate, the lower the better,
viewing angles, the higher the better,
those are a coupla thing I looked at when I got mine
I have a sony XDM-52 and I like it a lot so far.

like.. how much should a good 17in LCD monitor be?

I like to look around the net for reviews before buying stuff.
Tom's is pretty good.... oh... and AOC's LCD monitors are pretty damned good
