Post the contents of the .err file here. And also, try lowering you're RAM's clockspeed to 266 MHz instead of 333MHz. To do this, you will have to go into a BIOS, which can be accessed when you boot up the computer and it says press F1 or Del or whatever depending on the computer to enter the BIOS. Once in the BIOS, look for something to the likes of Front Side Bus or Bus speed, which should be at 166MHz since your memory is clocked at 333 MHz ~= 2 * 166Mhz, change it to 133MHz; which would make your memory run at 266MHz. Your processor also will be underclocked but try to see if Starcraft crashes.

Zero_MaxwInG: i didnt test this yet, but if i reduce*low my ddr ram clockspeed, my computer wont run at the performance that my pc have?.
i mean, my motherboard and ddr ram has 333mhz of fsb, isnt overclocked.

You will take a performance hit, but do it temporarily to see if Starcraft works. After you can change it back if SC still closes. If that still doesn't prevent SC from closing, I suggest using GoldMemory to test it out. SC is very sensitive to bad memory modules and GM can help to see if your RAM is in good condition. Download it at http://www.goldmemory.cz.

I cant overclock my mother, because it say that at less 333mhz of buss is accepted. Just can Auto or 333MHZ.

This is the .err file:

Starcraft would randomly exit to the desktop on me while playing Terran Mission (10?),-the last or second last mission, anyway (it's been a looong time ).I think it's the actual "pressing" of the CD I bought. If I look at it under a brighter light source,it has squiggily, unnatural patterns through it.It's possible that some, maybe many "pressings" (factory written copies) have a slight glitch/imperfection in the recordable layer.I never did find anything else that would explain it for me,but that could sure do it! An imperfection so slight as to not read correctly (100%),all of the time by the laser/alignment (especially at higher RPM's) could explain it.However- I think the game data is all stored on the hard drive...maybe it's in the music file area/triggered audio effect or triggered special video or event area on the cd? *If* this is the reason (bad "pressing" copy).Does it always happen during the SAME mission for you? If so-what mission# ? When mine crapped out,-it might do it a coupla times before it played all the way through... I'm not sure if this is the reason for mine or not,-but it's the ONLY thing I have ever noticed about my "booting out to desktop" probs.Do you know a friend with a copy? Examine the reflective side of your CD,and examine it closely.Does it too have a really odd pattern in it? Compare it to other copies of Starcraft if you can. I learned a lesson during "Terran" Mission 10... SAVE! SAVE OFTEN! LOL

P.S.- That "Error Code" looks exactly like the one I would get too.
