I don't feel like waiting for the cheaper dual systems to appear (which won't be till probably mid fall), so I'm gonna upgrade within the next two months.
Athlon 1.4Ghz (266bus) (Maybe an Athlon MP 1.4 if they are out soon)
Abit KG7-RAID (gotta wait for this board to hit shelves, it's not out yet)
512 megs PC2100 Ram.
Just a miniupgrade. The big upgrade won't be till probably a few months before christmas.

Would be prudent to wait for the 1.5GHz Athies, coz by that time the MP mobos for it will already be out ... that way you can have a flat number for your system, hehehe ...

1.4ghz is the magic number for my system, cause it's double my current chip speed 
But I'm not going to wait any longer than I have to, cause I plan on buying the absolute best that is available at the time.

I'd wait for Dualies. A higher Mhz just doesn't do it nowdays. SMP is where it's at!
Although it really doesn't matter much if it's one or 2 nowdays. I think i'll like it just for the fact that I like multitasking about 6 apps at once minimum...hehe

The thing is, I'd wait for dualies, but I don't want to wait to upgrade. There are a few games I play that require a lot more cpu power than 700mhz can deliver (Operation Flashpoint). Also, to get the most out of my geforce 3, I really do need a faster processor.
I'm not willing to wait until september or october to get a dual system (cause thats when the cheaper dual boards will be out).
