Just curious... I'm gonna be visiting a friend who just moved out there and neither of us know what we're gonna do with our time. Anyone who's in the area/been there got any suggestions of good places to check out?

Depending on what you and your friend's interests are, you can visit Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, or the Venice Beach area, or maybe the Mann's Chinese Theater in Hollywood Blvd, or walk along the expanse of Rodeo Drive and check out the great apparel

I'm in Columbia, moving to St. Louis in a few weeks (well, okay, not St. Louis the city, but Fairview Heights, IL -- which is right next to O'Fallon, IL. Weird, eh?).
