Court of Appeals Denies Napster Appeals

A short snip from Cnet:

In a terse, two-page order released Friday, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals denied two separate requests from Napster. In one, a three-judge panel said it would not rehear issues it ruled on last February. Responding to another petition, a larger group of judges also declined to review the matter in a so-called en banc appeal.

Recently, Napster released an updated version of it's software, which supposedly allows for some songs that aren't blocked to be downloaded again. When they were ordered to block mp3s before, it seemed like they censored everything down to "a", "I", and "you". Napster's song transfers have dropped over 80%, and I don't think they can pull themselves out this time. Catch the full story here.
