problems with chat screen

I have a friend who can not type in a chat room on slingo.com. She can type for anything else as in e-mail or things not on the internet The only place she cant is chat. She can see what people are saying but can not reply. PLEASE OFFER A SUGGESTION TO THIS PROBLEM.

what browser is she using, what version of the browser is she using, what plugins does she have installed, and what kind of chatroom(ie java or activX or something else) is it?
Also, does her computer work with other chatrooms?

It's probably the blaster worm.
Have her system scanned and cleaned.
