Battlefield 1942 map loading problem.

Ok, in BF1942 it all goes goos in the setup page untill i try to play the game , about 1/4 the way through loading the map with the tank on the screen or submarine ect.it just quits out of the game and puts me back on my desk top.

I dont know if you already have got the answer but a problem could be with the video card, the specs on the box dont seem to be right a couple of my friends were unable to run the game on other 64mb video cards that is probably a place to start though expensive.

Well could be , my friend has the same one and his works fine i think it is a driver on the card. problem is still unsolved.
