new to aol plz hlp me

i am new to aol and i cant figure out how to get it to auto complete for me, so i dont have to always type in everything. and also if my comp sits idle for like 5 min. it disconnects me from the internet and i have dial up with a horrible modem so it takes forever to get back on. please help me

Anyway, well, i don't use aol, so i won't be able to help with the auto complete part, but i can help you with the disconnect part. Many dial-up ISPs(including aol) will disconnect you from their servers if they sense that you are idle and, in their opinion, wasting valuable bandwidth. The solution to this is to get a program that will simulate activity every X minutes or seconds (X being the time you set), so if it's running in the background you'll never be disconnected. Personally, i reccomend stayalive. works quite well.

you can set it to autocomplete under preferences and internet options.
this however, is really not a good idea. having a program filling out your personal information without your assistance is not very secure.
