Moving files saved in AOL 8.0 to AOL 9.0

I updated to AOL 9.0 and want to move all my files and favorite places, saved in 8.0 to 9.0, so I can delete AOL 8.0 to gain disk space.

When I installed 8.0, I deleted the previous version and discovered I lost all the files that were in the previous version, the favorite places, etc.

Go into your AOL 8.0 directory and look for the favorites folder and any folders that may contain dowloads. Copy these into their counterparts in the AOL 9.0 install folder and you should have everything. On a side note, I would highly recomend storing data on a seperate drive or drive partition from the OS and program folders so that you can reformat should the drive become corrupt withou losing your data.

the only thing that changes is the actual program, all other files and folders are the same. just trash 8.0, and leave everything else.
