2.1 audio setup

I've had my audigy2platinum for a few months now and its definately time to upgrade current speakersetup (cambridge soundworks 2.1).
I thought about linking the soundcard up to a nice reciever and a pair of studio monitors, but that's really more cash than I'm looking to spend right now. So, I've looked around a bit and found that there are some supposedly pretty decent 2.1 computer systems out there.
In particular, I'm interested in the Klipsch ProMedia GMX A-2.1 rig. All reviews have been positive and the price is reasonable. I've also seen a few setups from Monsoon that might be worthy.
My question:
Any reccomendations? Anybody out there have the Klipsch's or a different set of good 2.1 speakers? I'm up for any reccomendations that you all might have.
Thanks much

I have a Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Speaker system that I bought last year, that puts out unbelievable crystal clear sound! Along with my Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum and the Klipsch set up, while maintaining clarity, it can also achieve High Level, Ear Bleeding Volume, which puts my old Sony Home Stereo system with Big speakers to shame.

Yeah, there definately are some very decent 2.1 setups out there. I deliberated for a while between the promedias 2.1s and the itrigue 2.1 3300's(low end model). I recently settled upon and bought a set of the itrigues, and I can tell you that I am not the least bit disapointed. The things that attracted me over the promedias were:
-Sexier design
-titanium drivers
-cheaper
-I had heard em before, and DAMN, is that some crisp sound!!!
Well, because I haven't heard the promedias myself, i can't say anything against them, but i would reccomend not to be suckered by the slightly higher wattage/maximum DB output. Keep in mind that these are the computer speakers, and so you'll be only a few feet away. Bearing that in mind, consider that i keep the itriuges at a 6th of the max volume, so I highly doubt volume will ever be a problem. Cripsness is really the deciding factor, and I can definately tell you that the itrigues pass that test with flying colors.

Go with Fibbi's suggestion, I showed them to him, and he got them himself. Having heard the i-Tigues and ProMedia next to each other, I can honestly say that I like the i-Trigues better. The i-Trigues are definately the value. If you want surround (you can just use the first 2 chanels) Logitech makes the Z-560 that sounds better the ProMedia, is cheaper, and is THX certified.

I'm weary to believe that the Z560s sound better than the promedias. I've heard the z560s in person, and while they do sound nice- everyone I've spoken to and everything I've read has declared the promedias a superior speaker.
thanks for the advice though... definately gives me something to look into (despite me being sorta already swayed by the klipsch).
Any more reccomendations...please, keep them coming
