Need help with HP Pavilion 9695c

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hi all, I have a problem with HP Pavilion 9695c - it is pretty old (3y/o).
I have lost the installation cd, and after formatting and upgrading from W98 to W2K i was unable to download all needed drivers (actually the list is very long).

Does anyone have an original cd with all the drivers?
Do you know if I can just use the W98 drivers?
Did anyone try to do the same as me and had the same problems?

PLS HELP

What kind of drivers are you missing? Try telling the hardware wizard to look for drivers in the directory C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS -- that *should* contain enough suitable drivers to get you up and running.

I've owned and formatted an HP Pavilion and there's nothing about the hardware that's so custom that you can't get another OS to run on it... unless, of course, you're not using a real, full version of Win2k...

I am using the full W2K, but I will give a try to your suggestion and see what happens.
