is this a pci card?

check to see if you have to disable an onboard video, though i doubt it, im kinda grasping at straws.

does your video card if its agp, support the version of agp on your mobo: 1, 2, or 3 (1x 2x 8x)?.
does card require power from a cable?
can you listen to your harddrive and tell whether windows is loading up?
are there any system beeps? if your machine capable of system beeps.
what is your mobo and vid card?

im thinking the problem is between mobo and card, so check if your mobo bios is configged right. either ways post some answer to the question i asked. itll help peeps diagnose the problem better.

yes pci

pc maker says it should detect. no need to disable onboard. yes i hear hard drive working so i think windows is loading. i hear it working so i think that part of it is ok. dont see a option for auto detect but maker says its set to do this when installing pci card. just says primary video adapter is pci under video config.
