I am reaching my wits end with this problem, every time I try to play MOHAA, Call of Duty, or AAO I get a Blue Screen and a stop error referrencing 0x0000008e. I have updated all of the drivers and I cannot think of anything else, It's a new system and all of the other programs run fine (including Maya Unlimited). Please help me.

Actually, I did get Call of Duty to run ONCE when I first installed it and it ran flawlessly, but every time since then it crashes like the others.

you might also be suffering from a lack of power. One of the things that you did not note is how big your power supply is. The harware that you are using in your computer drains a lot of juice so you should probably have at least a 350 watt PSU but a 400-500 watt PSU is better. Another thing to watch out for in the PSU market is brand names and price. PSUs are expensive to manufacture really well so many cheap units skimp on heatsinks and extra parts in order to make the build price less. The downside is that they are not as good at maintaining a table power output or even the power level they say they provide. A good 350 watt PSU should way about 4 lbs or more.
The reason that a lack of power whould only show up in games and not in other apps is that games are often the most chalenging programs that can be run on a computer, they often demand the most of every component so you can bet that they will be using their maximum possible amount of power.
Assess your power situation and see where you are in the PSU picture. I would say that the PSU has the best odds for being the sorce of the problem.
