Virus on MSN Hotmail account? Help!
(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm getting emails telling me that my Hotmail account is sending viruses to them.
I have checked my home computer, and I don't have any viruses on it (checked using Norton). I have a feeling the problem is in Hotmail itself (or otherwise on my work computer though this too has already been checked and scanned for viruses)
How would I find out and/or fix the problem???
Thanks so much to someone who can help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have a great day!!!!!!

It is most likely that you do not have a virus at all. Spammers are taking advantage of the virus situation to make people think that they are infected when in fact they are not. Make sure that you have all of the latest updates for windows and you will be fine.

One of the latest email viruses going around fakes the sender. Basically, the virus is on someone else's machine, but when it sends an email, it tells that other person that YOU were the sender.
Not much you can do other than ignore it.
