Java VM/Active X/Macromedia

I recently assisted a Client and was unsuccessful resolving the issue. When the Client attempts to login to a Website that contains a Java Pop-up login box they do not get it. I verified that all IE settings match mine but it was still a no go! Client does not see a blue picture box or red x picture box with a white box. I've concluded that it's possibly a IE Advanced setting Java VM/Scripting. If anyone knows anything about this any info is greatly appreciated. Website: http://www.mortgagenetworkquicklearn.com

You probably already did it, but I'd suggest trying the latest Java install. Its possible they are using coding which is not supported by the old JVM

Yes. I had them download the lastest Java Applet from the Java site was well as the latest free Macromedia Flash Player. Both were unsuccessful. I believe the client isnt using a'n IE Browser but rather an MSN or AOL which creates problems similar to these. Thanks for the suggests. I'll continue to research the issue.

Try this (worked for me)

First Uninstall Java (through control panel)
Then restart

Then go to http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
and install java manually (windows version)

Then restart

AND hope to god it works

Hopefully this will work (unless you have tried already)

I'm assuming that he has everything up to date?
