Finally got my A+ certification today. I passed the Hardware part last month and passed the OS part today. I hope to get the Network+ by the end of the year.

Thanks Bobaroo330! You could do it no probs. Just get the Mike Myers book, take some practice test from examdrill.com & freecomptia.com, and do some hands on work and your ready.

Congratulations! I know many who are gifted in the PC tech area, but just don't want to be bothered to get certified -- it will make a difference for you when you're looking for a job and give you a better shot at higher paying jobs. Good for you!

It is now a linear test not adaptive. It depended on how many questions you answered corectly. Each question was based on the one before it (so if you missed a question about networking guess what the next question was) . So if you didn't get many wrong around 20 , but if you missed some 30 for each test. It was dived into two test operating systems and core hardware. Now the linear is around 80 questions for each, but if you don't know a lot in one subject you can still get by.
