Temp net files folder problem

Its reporting the following:

Yet the folder is nearly empty. I have hidden files visible and everything, there is not that much stuff in there. Ive got 160mb of space left on my C: because of this, I need to free up this space. I tried checking the folder in dos, but I cant find it in dos(did dir /p about 6x).
Whats the deal?

I went ahead and moved the folder to another drive, and that worked. But what the heck could have caused this?

Windows
I've seen this prob before. The only explanation I could find was "Windows". If you move it back the size should stay down.
